How to make it

  1. Describe the music

    In Inspiration Mode, write a sentence about the mood, genre and pace your video needs.

  2. Turn on Instrumental

    Switch on Instrumental for music without vocals, so it doesn’t compete with speech in your video.

  3. Download and edit

    Listen to the two versions, download the one that fits, and add it to your video in any editor.

Tips

  • Describe the feeling, not just the genre. “Calm and hopeful lo-fi piano” gives more to work with than “background music”.
  • Turn on Instrumental when the video has a voiceover or dialogue.
  • Trim or loop the track in your video editor to match the length of your cuts.
  • Keep a copy of each track you use, so you always know where your music came from.
  • The free plan includes a limited number of downloads. A subscription removes the limit.

Can I use the music in my YouTube or TikTok videos?

Under our Terms of Service, you may use music you generate with USONG for personal and commercial purposes, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Copyright protection for AI-generated music varies by country, so please read the Terms for details.

Can I make music without vocals?

Yes. Turn on Instrumental in Inspiration Mode or Custom Mode before you create.

Can I download the music?

Yes. The free plan includes a limited number of downloads, and a subscription removes the limit.

How long does it take?

Usually a minute or two. It can take longer when many people are creating at the same time.

Is it free?

You can start for free. Some features and extra generations need credits or a subscription; the current prices are shown in the app.
